EP1. Inelegant Soirée
Crackpot hoarder Jackie and her ever-hopeful daughter, Helen, suffer an accidental dinner date with their much-hated neighbour and his saintly son. Loins won't be the only thing burning in this Tottenham tower block tonight.
EP2. Failure to Connect
Jackie has been stealing Wi-Fi from their eccentric neighbour across the hall. When he changes the password on the night of their favourite TV show’s final episode, Helen and Jackie go to desperate measures to get a new illicit Wi-Fi hook-up. Jackie even goes so far as to go crawling back to Nobby.
EP3. Missionary Implausible
Helen finally lands a date from her online profile, but her crush, Rob, returns home from his mission in the tropics. His fiancé ran off with a cannibal and he’s questioning everything! Will Helen take the high road or Jackie’s road?
EP4. Catalogue of Errors
Helen learns that the Argos catalogue is no longer in print. On this sad day, she also discovers that Jackie has binned her catalogue collection to make space for more "antiques". To bring Helen out of her funk, Jackie has to do business with a shady collector to find some of Helen’s favourite editions.
EP5. Highly Risible
In a nod to everyone’s second favourite J.G. Ballard novel adaptation, Helen journeys to the top floor where the building’s eccentric designer lives in splendid isolation. But, when she returns with Jackie, there’s nothing there but an empty rooftop. Was it all a rotten-chicken-induced fever dream?
EP6. Helen a Suitcase
After years of trying, Helen is finally offered a job, but Jackie hides it from her. When the truth emerges, Helen packs her bags. But her new digs come with gross strings attached. Helen returns to a flat in chaos. Suddenly it’s clear how much Jackie relies on her.
Xmas Special: O Holy Fight
Helen is tired of spending Christmas day stuck with Jackie, so when Rob asks her to join him for Christmas lunch she jumps at the chance. Jackie is upset and lays it on thick, but Helen sticks to her guns... until she discovers she’ll be spending the day feeding the homeless at Rob's church.
Series Two
EP7. Downwind
Helen gets duped into a pyramid scheme and won’t see reason, but Jackie knows the deal. In fact, she launched this exact pyramid scheme! Jackie joins the scheme to save Helen’s bacon and teach her a valuable lesson.
EP8. Hot Wheels
Helen always dreamed of having a car but Jackie put the brakes on it. When Helen finds out Jackie has a car hidden in storage, she threatens to leave. Jackie gives in, but when the go to get the car, the police have beaten them to it! And that rare boy-racer classic is destined to make a fortune at auction.
EP9. Tanticles
Jackie sets up a knock-off tanning salon in the flat. Despite early grievances, mostly about the half-naked strangers in the living room, Helen becomes tan-arexic! When Jackie shuts up shop, Helen sneaks in one last tan and promptly falls asleep. Her job interview the next morning is a hot mess.
EP10. Bully Beef
Helen’s old bully, now living it large in Essex, returns to rub her nose in it. Jackie seems oblivious to the bullying, and even insists the bully brings her mum up to reminisce. But when the bully’s mum arrives, the tables turn. It seems Jackie was quite the bully in her day too.
EP11. Nobbled
Jackie’s feud with Nobby has escalated and, despite Helen and Rob’s best attempts, the warring pair can’t be reconciled. When Nobby’s flat gets burgled, Jackie is the prime suspect. To clear her name, she will have to cross her moral threshold. Snitches get stitches after all.
EP12. The Bog
In the ultimate bottle episode, Helen and Jackie reluctantly work together to fix their broken toilet. That cistern holds a lot of secrets... It seems some pipes should remain unblocked.
Xmas Special: Father Christmas
Helen's deadbeat dad turns up out of the blue, intent on making up for lost time. Jackie knows something is amiss. But Helen, seeking the familial bliss she always dreamed of, tries to reunite her parents. Can a couple of mangy old leopards change their spots in time for Christmas dinner?
